Adding a new client
In order to add a new Client in PPS Express, choose Client from the main menu and then the green Add New Client button. From here you can add as many or as few details as you like for the new client- the only mandatory field is the client's surname.
Searching for a Client
The Client Search screen is one which you will use often in PPS Express to confirm which client you are currently dealing with. Clicking Consultation from the top menu, for example, will prompt you to select the client you want to view or modify consultation notes for.
You can also search for a client in order to view their Client Log which contains a history of their appointments, consultations, accounts, etc. To access this log choose Client from the top menu and search for and select your client. Your search can include all or any part of the client's first name or surname, reference, client number, email, town or postcode. You can specifically search by surname and first name (as you can in PPS) - so for example to search for John Smith you could enter 'smi joh' in the search box. As well as displaying your search results, the Client Search screen also displays your Currently Selected Client (i.e. the last person you were working with), your previous selections (in reverse chronological order) and your previous searches (which you can click to run again).
Editing Client Details
To edit client details, choose the client you wish to edit and then click Edit from the Client Screen. From here you can edit any of the details associated with this client.
The Client Log
The Client Log in PPS Express is the best way to see a complete collection of all interaction you have had with a client. This will include direct links to appointments, consultations, treatment episode details, and invoices and lists details of charges, payments, emails, telephone calls, client contact records, personal actions, messages, letters, documents, appointment confirmations / reminders, etc. When searching for appointment details for an individual client, simply navigate to their Client Log and then click the appointment in question, you will be taken directly to the main appointment screen.
