PPS Hosted systems can print labels to DYMO 400 & 450 label writers. The standard label sizes available are 11352, 11354, 11355, 30252 or 99012. If you have a different size please let the support team know the label number and dimensions via an email to support@rushcliff.com.
The following guide details the specific set-up required to print labels from PPS Hosted. You can find general information on preparing and printing labels from PPS here.
Section 1 - Configuring PPS Hosted
Initially you will need to contact the support team so that they can configure your PPS Hosted system to use the DYMO print function. Please send an email to support@rushcliff.com specifying the PPS registration number of your PPS system and the model of DYMO printer, either 400 or 450, that you will be using. Once you have received confirmation that this has been configured you can proceed with the following steps.
Section 2 - Setting up for label printing
a. First, close out of your PPS session using File > Exit.
b. Ensure that you have the latest version of TS Print installed.
c. Open up your TS Print Options. You can do this by searching for “Options” in your programs from your Start Menu on Windows. Ensure that Map Settings and Enable Session In Session are ticked. Press Save.
d. If you're on a PC, right click on the Remote Desktop link that you use to access PPS and select Edit.
In the Local Resources tab ensure that Printers is unticked. Save any changes made here by clicking Save in the General tab. If you are using a Mac then edit your Remote Desktop connection for PPS and ensure Forward Printing Devices is ticked in the Session tab.
e. Log into PPS once more and navigate to Tools > Options > General System Options. Set the Printer option to Dymo and choose your label type from the dropdown. Click Apply and then OK.
f. You can now try printing a label by going to Activities > Prepare a Label. If you are asked to select a printer then ensure that the DYMO is selected and click OK.
