If you find your PPS Hosted session unresponsive then you will need to restart it so that you can connect again as normal. With the PPS session full screen use the appropriate command from the options below. Once you get the option to Sign Out, do so in order to restart your PPS session. You will then be able to reconnect to PPS as normal. Below are steps for PC, Mac and mobile users.
Important: Restarting a PPS session in this way will result in any unsaved data being lost.
If you see a Switch To message in the corner of your screen but cannot access other parts of the system please refer to this guide.
Tip: If you need to minimise PPS so that you can get back to your own computer desktop and other programs you will need to use the controls on the blue bar in the middle of the screen, not the controls in the right-hand corner. For more details and tips see this guide.
Windows PC
Press Ctrl + Alt + End and then choose Sign Out.
Windows PC (alternate keyboard layout)
Press Ctrl + FN + Alt + right arrow (end) and then choose Sign Out.
Tip: If you have minimised your PPS and can only see a black screen try to maximise the screen again by pressing the Windows key and the up arrow.
Apple Mac
Press Fn + Control + Option + Delete and then choose Sign Out.
An alternative on some Macs is CTRL + ALT + FN + BACKSPACE
iPad & iPhone
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and then choose Sign Out.
Android
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and then choose Sign Out.
Tip: If you are still having any issues and you are not able to sign the session out you can pop an email over to support@rushcliff.com and ask for your session to signed out. You will need to quote your PPS registration number and your hosted user number.
