Occasionally you may see a “Switch To” message when you are opening documents or reports within PPS. This is a Windows message that indicates that there is an active program in the background that may require your attention. In most cases this will be a dialog box opened by the program your document is open in.
To access these background programs, first ensure that your PPS session is full screen and then hold down the Alt key while using the Tab key to cycle through the available programs.
If your PPS Hosted session is unresponsive but you do not see a Switch To message then you may need to restart your session to resume normal use. Details on how to do so can be found here.
