The following guide will take you through the process of integrating your Rehab My Patient account and accessing it via your PPS consultations to create tailor-made exercise plans for your clients.
Your account with Rehab My Patient will need to be in place before using it through PPS and you'll need to know your username and password.
Enabling the Rehab My Patient Integration
When logged in to PPS head to Tools > Options > General System Options > Add-ins
Here, tick the box beside REHAB My Patient to enable the integration. Choose Apply or OK to save.
Once this has been done you are ready to start using Rehab My Patient with PPS.
Using Rehab My Patient and the Storage of Login Details
Rehab My Patient will now be available within the consultation window via an icon at the top of the screen. Click this icon to begin using Rehab My Patient within the current consultation.
The first time you choose this option you'll be prompted to enter your RMP login details in order to gain access.
You can choose to store your login details for future use here using the Remember options. If you choose to store both the username and password you will not receive the login box each time you open Rehab My Patient in PPS, you'll be logged straight in to the saved account. Login details are stored on a per-practitioner basis and not for your whole PPS system.
Once you've logged in you can begin using the Rehab My Patient integration to create exercise programs for the client you're conducting a consultation for.
Should you save your RMP login details incorrectly, or need to remove your remembered username or password you can do this by returning to the Add-ins tab found via Tools > Options > General System Options.
On the Add-ins tab locate the Rehab My Patient section and click Settings.
The settings window will open. Here you'll see a list of all your practitioners and any usernames they have set as "remembered" for the RMP integration. If any of the practitioners have passwords saved then you'll see that the password box beside their name is ticked. In the below example Sue has saved her username and Howard has saved both his username and password. To forget a saved password for a practitioner untick the password box.
You can also use this screen to assign usernames to the practitioners on screen. Simply enter the username in the respective text box and choose OK to save. This username will then be remembered for that practitioner when they next come to use RMP in PPS, they will still need to enter their own password. In the same way, you can use this field to remove saved usernames by deleting them from the text box.
