When you complete an appointment, course of treatment or make a sale, you can now record a payment directly through PPS via Dojo.
The integration of PPS and Dojo will allow you to seamlessly and securely take payments through PPS using the Dojo card machine.
This streamlines the payments process, preventing the need to manually enter the invoice amount into a card terminal and preventing mistakes in typing the wrong amount. The completed payment is also then recorded in PPS automatically.

Section 1 - Sign up with Dojo
To begin taking card payments through PPS you will need to sign up with Dojo.
Contact sales@rushcliff.com who can refer you to Dojo so that you can sign up, remember to include your PPS registration number and contact information for reference.
Section 2 - Setting up Dojo in PPS
Once signed up to Dojo you will receive an email from Dojo with your API credentials and Host details. You will then need to enter these credentials into PPS in the settings screen.
Please Note: You will need to be logged into PPS as the System Administrator to see the settings for Dojo and be able to add the details.
Navigate to Tools > Options > General System Options > Add-ins where you can then select the Dojo - Settings here:
You can then select New Site which will let you link your Dojo terminal to PPS.
First, enter a Site Name which can just be a name that you use to identify the terminal.
Then you can enter your API Key and Host details that would have been included in the email from Dojo.
You can then also select a Location if you have multiple locations where you will be using the Dojo terminals.
Once the Site has been added you can add the Terminal.
Select New Terminal and first select the Site that you've just created and enter the Terminal ID that can be found in the Tools menu in your Dojo app.
You will then have your Dojo Site and your Terminal set up to use:
Once you are ready to take payments through Dojo in PPS you will just need to make sure that the Dojo settings are ticked as Active and then you will see the button to take payments through Dojo here:
Section 3 - Taking payments through Dojo in PPS
Once you are set up you can start using Dojo to take payments.
There are a few different ways to record a payment in PPS so each of these payment screens will now give you the option to pay through your Dojo terminal.
a. Complete an Appointment
When you navigate to the Diary to complete an appointment you will see a new 'Pay via Dojo' option.
b. Complete a consultaion
When you have entered your consultation notes and select Consultation Complete you can raise the charge and Pay Now with Dojo.
c. Mark an invoice as paid
If you have an invoice that needs to be paid you can open the invoice and record a new payment on the invoice where you can select Dojo and you will be able to pay via the Dojo Terminal:
d. Record a Payment
If you want to record a payment against a client/third-party account you can select Record a Payment on your taskbar or by going to Accounts > Record a Payment.
Here you can enter the amount and select the Dojo icon to pay through your Dojo terminal:
e. Record a payment through Cashdesk
If you prefer to use the Cash Desk to record payments you can also enter the charges here and choose to pay through Dojo:
