Please Note: This guide is only applicable to users accessing our new Express v2 system. If you have not had your system updated to this version of Express you can contact support@rushcliff.com to see if you are eligible for an upgrade.
The following guide will go through the settings to customise your diary view in Express to let you pick which practitioners' diaries you can see, toggle between one day or the whole week in the view or view the diary by room.
Section 1 - Diary Options
You can access the Diary Options by selecting the Settings menu in the top right-hand corner of the system. The Diary Options allow you to select a default diary user and you can change the settings for the view on a mobile device. The other option also allows you to hide the diary for users that aren't available for the selected day when using the multi-diary view.
If you are not a Diary User in PPS, or if you have not selected a Default Diary User from the User Settings > Diary Options screen then you will be prompted to select a Diary User from the drop-down list in the diary where it says Choose Practitioner. Once you have done so, that user's diary will load automatically.
Section 2 - The Diary View
When you open the Diary in Express you will first be able to choose how you want to view it, this includes selecting the practitioners that you want to be able to see (if you have more than one practitioner with a diary in your system), zooming in or out viewing the diary by the day or the week, choosing a specific date to view and toggling between multi or single practitioner/room views.
Use the arrows before and after This Week/Today to navigate forward or backwards on the diary, or click the centre of this button to be taken straight back to the current week/day.
The Date Picker button opens a series of options for finding a diary date based on month, or via a monthly calendar view.
The next button along allows the toggling of the Diary View. This is covered in Sections 3 and 4 below. Click Choose Practitioners where you will see a list of practitioners to include in the multi-user view.
Finally, you can Refresh the diary to view any changes or access Help & Information which provides a reference for all the icons and the location/room colour key in the Express diary.
Section 3 - Diary View by Single or Multiple Practitioner
Use the Diary View toggle to view a single practitioner's diary for the whole week or multiple practitioners' diaries for one day.
Section 4 - The Diary View by Single Room or Multiple Rooms
Please note: This option is currently only available for Express systems that sync with a PPS system where the rooms can be added and managed in the practitioner's availability.
